Theme Change

Well… I tried to make my XP machine look like Mac OS X Leopard, from what i think, it looks pretty realistic. I know, you can never get the realistic look of Mac OS X Leopard without the real thing but it’s the best I can do with a Windows machine. :)

If you’ve seen any other pictures of XP or Vista machines turned into a Mac OS X Leopard theme put the link in the comment.

MacBook Air

After reading loads of posts and articles on the MacBook Air, I thought it was my time to give some comments on it.

First off all, the engineering design is absolutely amazing. When you first have a look at the MacBook Air you get amazed by apples “thinnoavation”. You see how apple have brought a “Mac” into such a thin and compact design. The thin design of the MacBook Air makes it much easier to carry a portable notebook around with out all the unnecessary weight.

But with all this thin compact design comes the unwanted specs. With a the standard 1.6 GHz or optional 1.8 GHz Intel core 2 duo processor shows the minimum speeds. The capacity of the hard drive is with a standard 80 GB 4200 – rpm parallel ATA hard drive or the optional 64GB solid – state drive

Overall it all depends on what kind of a person you are, a person who travels a lot, or a person who just sits back and enjoys. I think apple had intended the MacBook Air for people who are traveling excessively and don’t need all the weight for a notebook.

MX Revolution Mouse

The MX Revolution is like no other mouse, this mouse is ergonomic, stylish and useful. This is mouse is ergonomic with it’s shape to fit your hand. There is a loop on the left side of the mouse which helps the thumb fit perfectly while holding the mouse. Like no other mouse which is the same shape all around, the MX Revolution has all different groves, loops and bumps to make the mouse perfectly perfect for the hand.
The MX Revolution has 5 different buttons on it. One of them is the main hyper scroll wheel, this scroll wheel can be set so when it is spun once really fast the wheel will continue to scroll for a couple of seconds. The hyper scroll wheel comes handy when you are browsing long pages or want to quickly get trough those long “terms of agreement” pages. With one fast scroll you can be flying trough long unnecessary pages.
Another handy “scroll wheel” is the one on the left of the mouse. This “scroll wheel” is not exactly a scroll wheel because it’s not used to go through pages but it can be used for Vista’s 3-D flip or what I use it for, to control the volume of the computer speakers.
All in all the mouse is a excellent mouse which is useful for everyday computing needs.

Nikon D60

Hey Guys,
I’m new to the whole blogging world, so any constructive criticism will be appreciated.
Well I was looking through some websites that blog about tech stuff and I came across a article about the Nikon D60. (Link) The Nikon D60 is a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera (D SLR). The Nikon D60 is a new camera that is coming to the Nikon digital SLR family, this camera is going to take the place of the Nikon D40X which is a amazing SLR camera that was intended for people who were starting out in SLR photography. The Nikon D60 is similar to the Nikon D40, but the Nikon D60 has much more features which come in handy.
One of the new and very useful features is the dust reduction functionality. The dust reduction on the Nikon D60 is like no other, Nikon has spent a lot of thinking into the dust reduction. They have thought of were exactally the dust is entering the camera and how to get rid of it. The Nikon D60’s dust reduction is similar to the Nikon D300’s, the similarity is on the Nikon D300 the dust is removed by the shaking of the optical filter, which causes the dust to move/fly off of the optical filter. But the Nikon D60 has the first ever dust remover which uses airflow. So the dust in the mirror box is removed by when, the mirror moves up to take the photo the airflow created is used to blow the dust away from the mirror box area. Well the useful “thing” out of this is the dust is removed from picture to picture, before on the Nikon D300 the dust is removed each time the camera is turned on and turned off, but on the Nikon D60 the dust is removed every time a photo is taking.
One other exciting feature is the stop motion movies. The Nikon D60 will allow for up to 100 photos to be taken and then be turned into the stop motion movie. So if your watching a exciting event or your son/daughter making there first steps, you can make them into a wonderful stop motion movie.
Orientation Sensor? Ring any bells. Well in the Nikon D60 there is a orientation sensor that is used with the LCD screen, this sensor helps out when the camera is turned horizontally or vertically the info displayed on the screen will turn with the camera. This is useful when you take a photo vertically and you want to look at it, there is no need to turn the camera back horizontally because the photo will be turned vertically. This is a very neat feature that will come in handy at times.
Eye Sensor, well the Nikon D60 has a eye sensor built inside. Guessing what it does? Well when the Camera is against the eye all the info on the LCD screen will go blank, so there is no “light” to reflect in your eye when your looking through the view finder. This is useful when you are taking a bunch of photos click after click and you don’t want the LCD screen to pop up with the photo that you took, so as long as you eye in on the viewfinder the LCD screen will be blank and no disturbance.
Another nifty but useful feature is that the mode dial at the top of the camera can be displayed on the LCD screen when the dial is turned. So there is no more need to look at the top of the camera to see what mode that you are on, all the info of the mode dial will be virtually displayed on the LCD screen.
So you guys are wondering when is this going to be released and for how much, well form what i have read this camera is going to be released late February early March for $749 dollars with the AF-S VR 18-55 mm lens.
